Help me with holiday suggestions please

Stuck for ideas! Family of 5, 3 DCs 14 16 and 18. We're in agreement that sunny beach all inclusive resort not for us this year. Kids a bit bored with that now. Great at the time to do pool and unlimited ice cream but they've grown out it a bit. Just no idea where to go. 7 days off. Thinking twin city breaks but just not sure where or a nice resort where we could have one base but do day trips from. Any suggestions please?

Hisaronu/Olu Deniz in Turkey. Different places to visit, trips to do but also easly to chill and have down time.
