Birthday gift for 10 year old boy

Hi all, looking for some inspiration please as I don’t know where to start. My nephew is 10
in a few weeks and I’m struggling to think of a gift for him. He says he’d like money but I’d like to get him something to open too. Not sure what’s age appropriate though? Everything I’ve seen in the shops looks either too young or old.
he likes: Roblox, football, has a VR headset he likes. He has an extensive soft toy monkey collection so was thinking of adding to that? Garden games etc is a no as they have a back yard.
his mum has saved up to buy him a computer so I was thinking something perhaps related to that?
Thanks x

  • Games headset for chatting to his friends or extra controller for Xbox/Ps
  • American or Japanese sweets/candy
  • Diablo
  • squishmallow
  • Nike socks
  • posca pens
  • new football / basketball / rugby ball
  • air up bottle/pods or Stanley cup

The 10/11 year olds I know would be delighted with the above!

If he's getting a computer, a snazzy wireless keyboard and mouse would also be welcomed

Or a snazzy gaming headset?

Thanks all for the suggestions. My parents are getting him a keyboard and headset, this was my only idea too!

Personalised mouse mat?

BigBoysDontCry · 14/05/2024 11:02

Not sure of your budget but you could get a specific gaming mouse mat, headset hanger, pc screen led back lights. Loads of gaming stuff he can add.

Roblox voucher.

RosieIGrant · 14/05/2024 13:24

Thanks all. Budget is £30 so not huge.

What about a ticket or voucher for an "experience".....Go Ape, football stadium tour, zoo keeper experience or day out if he's into monkeys (might be over budget)?

tetralaw · 14/05/2024 13:34

Get him Roblox voucher for Robux money.

crockofshite · 14/05/2024 15:56

Give him the money so he can put it towards something he'll find useful or enjoy.

He'll be thrilled with cash if that's what he's asked for.
