My partner brought me some really expensive Tom Ford perfume I went on about it for ages …he got me some for Christmas when I started to use it it was awful I don’t know why …I smelt off to me …so I stopped wearing it ..anyway partner asked me if I liked it and I said yes as didn’t have the heart to say no …but it just didn’t smell how it should have it didn’t smell how it did in the shop when I was smelling it there …anyway I went to Frazers this week and smelt the same one and it’s completely different from mine …my partner has emailed house of frazer so we will see what happens ….and no it’s defo not fake he got it from house of frazers …anyone else had this happen

When you were in the shop, did you actually try it on your skin, or just sniff it on a test strip? It may be the carrier does not suit your chemistry.

Maybe it’s been stored incorrectly and the juice has changed. Last time I was in House of Fraser it seemed to be a giant consignment store so who knows how it was stored before they bought the item in. Hopefully they will accept a return if the item is faulty.
