Does anyone else have a herniated disc

I'm writing this post as I lay here barely able to move over/around the bed.
It's just taken me a good 10 mins to manoeuvre myself out of bed and back in again.
The pain is absolutely horrendous first thing, my back twinges with every single tiny movement. I can't stand up straight due to the pain.
Is this normal with a herniated disc ? Im early 30's and the way my back is in the morning you'd think it was 80!! Im not exaggerating when I say it's agonising

It's normal when you first do it, yes. Are you on medication and using ice packs and hot water bottles? It's so awful, but it will improve. Are you seeing a physio?

You need physio. Hot and cold can help plus meds. The pain can last several weeks.

Once it eases you need to continue doing physio exercises daily even just ten minutes a day. Join a Pilates class or do one online at home. And work to strengthen your core.

If you do nothing it will keep happening and get worse

My physio says beware of inactivity, not activity, but if its just happened, you might struggle to do much.

Hi everyone.
I'm actually on holiday at the moment so being extra active.
I've done physio, found it useless, I was told to get my husband to run a tennis ball over my back 🤷‍♀️ couple of stretches that I do and don't make a difference !
Happened again this morning obviously , it's so painful. And each step I take it's like my back spasms/twinges

Physio hasn’t been helpful for me either. I don’t know what to do, to be honest but enormous sympathy.

Good luck op. Take care. I broke my back, a year later it's still bad, and I did all the right things, physio etc.
