If you are in a long term relationship in your 50’s, how often are you having sex?

Just that really. Just interesting to me. For me and DH, we have shift patterns that aren’t helpful, so sometimes it’s once a week, sometimes once a fortnight, but on holiday recently it was twice a day. Been together 16 years. We are 54 and 51.

With my ex it was about 2-3 times a week. Current DP is a bit younger than me but doesn’t have much energy so I’m lucky if it’s once a week. More like once a fortnight most of the time. Trying to make more time at weekends as he knows it’s important to me, but he’d happily go without I think.
