I have a work thing in Manchester at the end of the month. It's in the city centre near Oxford Street. I don't want to spend too much on accommodation so looking at the Premier Inn.

Where is good for dinner? Is Manchester safe at night? I'll be there for a few days
I've never been there before so any advice would be great!

Dishoom in Manchester is very very good

Higher Ground
Kala
El Gato Negro

Are just some good ones. It's perfectly safe at night but stick to the main roads.

Kitten is good for Japanese food. Maray is lovely. El Rincon de Rafa is good for Spanish. I love mowgli more than dishoom and also bundobust for Indian food.
Some nice places in norther quarter. Depends what you like and yes manchester is perfectly safe to walk round
