Something is biting me and wondering what!

starts off with the large bumps - then goes into the bruise you can see. But I also today have the little red bumps under the bruise? The bruised one is from Tuesday/Wednesday.

Watching this with interest OP as I don’t have an answer but I do have a bite exactly like your 3rd pic on my boob of all places, it has been so itchy for days but fading now thank god, not the most convenient place for a scratch 🤣

NauseousNancy · 12/05/2024 18:48

That one is the top of my leg so probably just looks like I’m scratching my arse 😂😂

When I had one like this I thought was a spider bite as I got it in February when it was snowing! Couldn't think of any other critter about at that time

NauseousNancy · 12/05/2024 21:34

my husband did say possibly spider bites but is it normal to get so many??

Any more guesses?

my worst fear is fleas from my cats!

I wouldnt say spider, they normally have two little holes in them. Are you allergic to anything op? The size makes me think you are having a reaction at first. Unfortunately i would go with flea/mosquito

GasPanic · 13/05/2024 11:48

Where do you live ? I would say :

Photo 1 : mosquito.
Photo 2 : fleas.
Photo 3 : large spider + follow up by mosquito.

NauseousNancy · 13/05/2024 11:53

Live in central Scotland.

not allergic to anything I’m aware of! The one that’s not bruised looked similar to the other two big ones before it bruised.

Were you sitting outside over the weekend? Maybe ants.

NauseousNancy · 13/05/2024 11:57

Yes, I have been sitting outside with my legs up on another chair. But I had leggings on!

Surely #1 suspect is the midge if you live in Scotland.

NauseousNancy · 13/05/2024 12:01

Never thought about midge - I have lived in Scotland for 37 years and never had a single bite in my life before now! No bites ever from anything.

Biting midge alert near Fort William.

I get bitten all the time. To not have any insect bites ever is pretty unusual. Unless there is something about you they don't like. Like in that zombie movie.

no high levels around me but guess it could be!
