Do you think 3800 is a lot of money for a 2 week all, inclusive in July to Greece 2 adults

Not really. We usually go self catering as we like to eat out in different restaurants and usually spend at least £1k a week on going out/eating out. We just eat locally, nothing fancy and I also don't drink so no boozy dinners either. We spent £4k on two weeks in Lanzarote in January this year (accommodation, flights, spends etc). I think AI can be really good value for money. If it has some good food options and great reviews I'd say it sounds worth it.

No

No

SillyLittleWoman · 12/05/2024 19:04

Nope. My DHs friend last year spent over £6k for him, wife and one 9 yr old DC on an all inclusive in Greece for 10 days.

Could you link me to this holiday pls? I'm interested!

BeaRF75 · 12/05/2024 19:04

Sounds very cheap - I'd be worried there was something wrong with the place!

MillicentMaybe · 12/05/2024 19:15

Break it down this way - £1900 per person. Assume £500 for flights and transfers. That leaves £100 a day for your accommodation, meals and drinks. Pretty cheap when you look at it that way, isn’t it?

Bjorkdidit · 12/05/2024 19:45

Not really cheap. I don't think I've ever paid more than about £200 for a return flight to Europe and £200 pn for a double hotel room is quite a lot unless high end.

I suppose it depends on whether it's at the beginning or end of July and level of AI.

But I'd not go AI anyway as the type of AI where you get compable food and service to self catering and eating in local restaurants is very expensive.

I tend to look for cheaper than that - but always 4/5 stars and all inclusive, I just keep checking till I have a good deal!

Just booked 10 nights all inclusive to Rhodes for 2 adults and 1 child for 1800 (4 star, flights and transfers included!)

Lovinglife57 · 12/05/2024 20:00

I’m not sure my partner booked them

It does sound like a lot to me. I wouldn’t pay more than £2000 personally.

Well still less than £150 per day per person. So I still wouldn’t be expecting top end AI for that.

BrendaSmall · 12/05/2024 21:07

That’s cheap
Try 2 weeks in July going to a 5* hotel in Egypt 😛
