Dh and Dd went to see them last night ( although they didn’t actually appear!)

We live on the border of the Peak District. Dh said it was gridlock at midnight!😂

Traffic was quite busy when I was going home about midnight but I think a lot of it was people leaving Eurovision parties around then too, that's what I was doing anyway! Didn't see any lights at all.

I think traffic was gridlocked over darmoor too.

We tried again last night, having had no luck with the weather on Friday, and drove out to a nearby hill, which was actually a landing spot for Operation Market Garden. (in the Netherlands).
We've never seen it so busy! The car park was full and people were parked all along the track with cameras, deckchairs, and thermoses.
No sign of the aurora but we did watch the moon set.

On Friday night/Saturday morning I suppose as after midnight, there was a people jam on the lifeboat ramp - the street lights go off at midnight and there were hundreds looking out to see, and didn't disappoint. Walking back home it was festival level crowded and cars were badly parked everywhere, we just happen to live 10 minutes walk away. Still were hearing cars past 1am when it's rare normally
