URGENT Anyone ever known someone that is or was addicted to opioids?

Has anyone ever heard the term 'Going over' as in 'going over on opioids'?

I'm trying to figure out what it means if anyone can help please?

No direct knowledge but I'd have a strong guess that it means overdosing? Not necessarily fatally but to the point where it was an issue in some way
