Hi everyone, I claim CA for my autistic DD and a couple of years ago ( 2022) I set up as a sole trader and I run a small business that brings in a small amount of money.
I made the CA dept aware of my business and I never heard a word from them, until now. Two brown envelopes have arrived today, wanting full details of my earning and a breakdown of my expenses. More in depth than a tax return. Has anyone else had this? I'm a bit confused by the wording on the forms and I am also aware of recent media coverage about them going after CA claimants. Scared they are trying to trip me up somehow?
Can anyone advise me on filling out the forms? The forms arrived today, deadline to get them back in is 21 May!. Currently dealing with annual review paperwork ( if you know, you know) I feel stressed and frazzled.
