City, town or village person?

What do you think makes someone a city, town or village person? Is there such a thing or do we just get used to one way of living?

For context I'm wondering as now I'm well settled in London (grew up in village), I do still fantasize about a life elsewhere.... And for all intents and purposes my life feels pretty transferrable - so I'm wondering what it is that makes someone happier in one setting Vs another....

It is a market town for me - amenities and employment as well as countryside all walking distance.

City, for me. Lots of amenities, transport and cultural stuff too. I couldn't live in a house that didn't have a pavement right outside! I also like the anonymity of city life. I read about villages where everyone knows everyone else - and is expected to "socialise" - and it brings me out in a cold sweat.
