Just having some down time, I'm very excited but just wanted to ask

Does anyone have any advice for tomorrow? Any last minute tips or key things to remember I may have forgotten?
Any regrets or do's/dont's?

I'm very excited and don't think I'll be sleeping anytime soon!

Congratulations! Try and stop a few times to take a breath and take it all in with your new husband/wife.

Eat something substantial in the morning, even if you have to force yourself to.

Don't sweat any last minute small stuff you're presented with. It doesn't matter.

Have an amazing day!

Congratulations.

Advice pack a hair brush in overnight bag (I forgot) spend a lot of time with your new husband/wife It's easy to become separated you do your side they theirs. Instead stick together and experience it together.

I had a flounce dress and remember was weirdly easier to sit backwards on the loo!

Congratulations! Make sure you eat something during the day. I didn’t because I was so stressed by it all and felt ill by the end of the day.

I made the effort to talk to all my guests, even just polite chit chat. I thought they’ve spent money on coming to our wedding, the least I can do it show some appreciation (as tedious as it might have felt). I have been to weddings where I felt I was just making up the numbers. I think speaking to all my guests made them feel welcome.

Congrats again, now get some beauty sleep! :)

Eat a substantial meal in the morning. Apart from that, just enjoy the day. One thing I loved when I got married was seeing some of the other couples just being extra lovey and nostalgic.

Oh and congratulations!!!

Congratulations OP. The day will fly. Enjoy every minute of it. Don't stress, just go with the flow. Thank everybody for coming and have a fantastic day. You'll radiate beauty and happiness so just enjoy it together. You've got this! Best wishes to you both xxx

Some great tips here.

Eat well especially in the morning
Be present for your guests - say thank you
Don't worry about the little things
Try not to drink too much but do enjoy yourself
Cheesy party music fills the dance floor

I'd use your groomsmen /bridesmaids, they do have a job to do - rounding up guests etc so set clear jobs - helping with photos, asking staff about schedules, holding handbags etc

We did have a half hour together in our room before dinner just relaxing which was lovely and very needed.

Make sure you do drink some water so you don’t become dehydrated and tired for the evening.

shrinkingbee · 10/05/2024 23:24

Some excellent tips here - thank you!
Must remember to keep hydrated and take time
For each other x

Enjoy every minute it’s a cliche but the day flies by!!

And someone/something will annoy you but just let it go!

Have lip balm and water stashed somewhere throughout the day!!

Congratulations and have an amazing day!!
