Remembering BOF

Hello everyone.
I’m popping back on here to post that it is 3 years since we lost our dear friend and mumsnet legend BitOfFun. She was the epitome of the very best of this place and I for one miss her a great deal. She was loved and admired by many people on here but in the past threads about her sometimes turned into competitions about who knew her best, which she would have hated. If you want to remember her please let’s be positive. Before she died she spoke to me about whether she would be remembered. Well, I remember her and miss her and am thinking of her, as I am sure many others are. RIP Bee.

Is it really three years? Wow. She was one of the good ones on here, and much missed.

Flowers a lovely, aptly named poster that is missed

She was great and is very much missed. I met her on the cancer support thread and her advice, care and humour shone through. A true gem. RIP Bee x

I am someone who rarely asks other people for help but I once went to her for advice over something that had happened to me. She was so wise and told me exactly the right thing.

She was lovely.x She's one of the reasons I took the plunge and got my dog, best decision ever and she helped me make it.

She saved me once and I will never forget it.

I don't know if people know how thoughtful she was in the quietest ways. She would send me things because she thought I'd like them. Tiny things. Obscure things. Or she'd message to tell me a book she was reading reminded me of her.

I haven't opened her very last message to me. I can't. Because then there won't be another one.

She was the very best of us and I think about her often. Hilarious, kind, clever. God she's missed.

She was very funny. Really made me laugh on the old X Factor live threads.

Can only imagine how much her family miss her.
