I know this is a tale as old as time but I look crap. I admit I could eat healthier but I try. I go the gym 3 to 4 times a week. I'm 5 foot 3 and 10.5 stone. I have short wobbly legs and now my belly has got fat. I have odd proportions.

You could try and focus on what you appreciate about it. Your strength, flexibility, how far you can walk, that you can dance (if you do!), how capable your hands are, the things you like best about your appearance - hair colour, the shape of your nails, could be anything. Can’t hurt.

I dated the MOST HOT GUY in Dublin once, and despite ALL his beauty, he was boring as shite! I left the date halfway through cause ADONIS had zero personality . So focus on your friendships and really listening and making real connections, and enjoy the laughs.. sure what else can you do? And find Excercise you enjoy.. England has fabulous country side and footpaths.. join the groups on meet up App and go explore.. hugs, there’s more to you than your belly..

And I wish people would stop calling me short arse.

You're not that short. Move to Wales! You'll be a taller than a lot of women!

If your mental health is suffering as a result about your unhappiness with your figure you have two options -

  1. Go on a mission to lose excess weight and to tone up and have the best body you can possibly have.
  1. Accept that you are perfectly lovely and so your best to keep in shape and eat healthily without it becoming an obsession and free yourself of anxiety and negative thoughts.

Wish people would stop telling me I'm tiny then. I feel stumpy lol

The but if you are tiny then you are - it's you giving tiny a negative connotation

Next time someone comments you reply " the best things come in small packages "

I'm also 5'3(only just) and hardly anyone calls me short arse. Yes it's below average but not tiny.

I don't like my body either(pear shaped with big bum) but as I've got older I care less. I'll try and dress in a way that suits me, even if that does mean saying no to some outfits. There are clothes out there for different shapes.

Runningonempty01 · 11/05/2024 11:59

I'm 5.0 no one calls me short arse and i would tell them to fuck off if they did as being rude isnt acceptable, a few people call me tiny which I don't have an issue with as its just factual. 5.3 is not that short heading towards average unless you are Dutch ?
