I'm just looking for some sympathy and to vent because I am too ashamed and embarrassed to talk to anyone in real life.
I started a new job on Tuesday (because of the bank holiday), Wednesday was my regular day off and then worked Thursday. I wasn't aware of any issues,I was given an entry fob as I was leaving, but at 17:30 I received a text saying they "no longer needed my services" and I will be paid for the hours I have worked. I mean WTF?
I have spent the day applying for jobs...again and applied for Job Seekers Allowance.
My husband wants me to ask why, but I'd rather chop my own arm off.
Oh and would I be really petty to post the fob back in an envelope without a stamp? I won't be passing the office anytime soon.
I just want dome sympathy to be honest.
