Question for air fryer experts!

Hi! Just bought one and wanted to ask a quick question! I make chicken breasts in breadcrumbs for my kids and then freeze them, and I cook them at 180 in the oven for 25 mins (from Frozen). How long do you think in an air fryer? Or do I just take off 10 mins or something? Thank you xx

For the Ninja’s the rough guide is reduce both time and temperature by 10%.

I bought a little meat thermometer when I got mine and it’s worth its weight in gold. Chicken needs to register 74° if you poke it at its thickest part of the fillet.

My rule of thumb is to drop temp by 10° and time by about a quarter and check with the thermometer at that point. Once you’ve done a favourite recipe more than a couple of times though you will remember how quickly it cooks

I agree with the above. Also, sorry if this is a stupid point but depending on which airfryer you have, bear in mind that it may not automatically preheat. Mine doesn't but if I manually preheat it, the cooking time is almost halved.

I agree: airfryers cook things beautifully! Crispy on the outside but meltingly tender inside 👌
