Where can I go to next weekend?

Before my treatment starts. I wanted to go abroad but eye surgery put paid to that😀 I want a pool sun and sea but I’m not going to get any of that next weekend am I? I looked at Margate but the nice hotels are full. I’m not driving so it’s a train from London and I may invite two of my girl friends. A spa would be great but not too necessary, somewhere laid back with good food and I would love to potter about. I’ve never been to the Cotswolds so that might be somewhere?

I think your subject line is messed up, but trying to bump for you! What's your budget? Do you particularly want to be by the sea? The Cotswolds is nice for a potter around definitely. I honestly have no idea what it's like but Heythrop Park has been revamped as a Warner's adults only hotel. Perhaps you could see what that's like and say what you like/don't like to give some more clues to your style! A lot of Cotswold places would mean train then taxi, and you might then be stuck there unless you go for somewhere with good bus routes.

Yes I’ve just looked at Stroud but it doesn’t get good reviews on here. It needs to between London to Bristol. It’s just one night.
