Funny things your child has cried about

It's boiling here today
My nearly 3 year old son has white skin like his dad
When putting sun cream on this morning he cried because I won't let him tan like me
I am olive skinned from Italy. He doesn't get that my skin isn't from tanning it's natural.
Queue 10 minutes meltdown and explains. His response was maybe next year her can tan instead then

Not my child but a Reception child in my class once cried at me for ten minutes because his banana broke and I wouldn’t glue it back for him!

Because his teaching assistant couldn't be his girlfriend. He was 6.

4 children here. 1st one (boy), robust, nothing much but wasn't keen on the dark when a bit older. Child 2 (girl), stepping on sand or snow - inconsolable, otherwise OK. Child 3 (girl) - terrified of absolutely everything, the list is too long to write, particularly anything that made a noise, but could be unreasonable about anything. Child 4 (boy) - nothing other than spiders.
