For my 5 year old son! I admit I've run out of ideas. Friends and family suggestions are things he has or I don't think he'd like. I'm broadening my horizon here, someone on here must have an idea not already suggested (please)
He loves vehicles. Anything messy. Disney, favourite is cars, toy story and lion king.
I've already bought some clothes, don't need any more.
Thank you in advance

Lego? If you can get him into that you have a lifetime of easy gifts ahead.

He enjoyed the duplo versions, he wasn't keen on the lego. I could get him more duplo sets until he advances I suppose, there is quite a range.
Thank you 😊

Smyths Toys has a few Lion King Squishmallows online, if he likes soft toys?

One of the Disney Cars race track sets
Playmobil - the garage set or one of the police sets with the vehicles
Buzz Lightyear or Woody toy - one of the ones that talks and lights up etc
Marble run of some sorts - all my nephews have loved them at that age

Topbird29 · 10/05/2024 14:07

Hot wheels track and cars?
Playmobil do some cool sets.
Dress up outfit? Spiderman, woody, buzz?
Remote controlled car? We got a lightning mcqueen one a few years sgo.
I think my oldest was into fireman Sam at that age and had all those bits, so he was easy!

if you’ve a garden anything watery
the little canal systems you can build are great. You can also get water walls, like marble run but with water.

We got DD a vtech marble run at that age. She's just shy of 7 and it still gets regular use.

CoffeeLover90 · 10/05/2024 14:38

Wow thank you everyone, some great suggestions here. Some he already has but there's a few here he doesn't and he'll love!
Can you tell pre child I would just hand over money for young relatives and children of friends 😂 I've obviously bought for him before but for once I was truly stuck for ideas.
Google just suggests things I've already bought. Google has nothing on Mumsnetters!
