Like NYT Connections game (but UK terms rather than US) - give it a try...

I've just found a Connecting Wall type game with UK terms and spellings which is very good.
Each day there is a puzzle that is either Easy, Medium, Hard or Extreme. I've found it quite useful that I can ask for a clue when I get stuck on one of the more difficult groups, but didn't need that today!

The difficulty of the puzzle changes between easy, medium, hard and extreme . Today's was easy .

Ahhhh I see, yes it was VERY easy. Yeah, I think I'l prefer the medium days (maybe not the hard ones!).

Incidentally, the NYT one is an easier one today.

I agree, the American terminology makes it pretty much impossible to those of us who aren’t in the know, I mean the same could be said for everything technically, but a lot of things are naturally absorbed from the world around us and general exposure. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t have exposure to American tv channels, their sports team nicknames, their local daily newspapers etc so I’m bound to fail sometimes!

Today's WordLinkle was an Extreme - I struggled even more than usual, and had to ask for 3 clues :-(

I got there in the end but with several time penalties and umteen wrong tries . Oddly - the set I got first was the one I didn't have the clue for .
