Universal Credit Review

Hi everyone, I am currently going through a review with Universal Credit where I had to send 4 months bank statements and my ID to the UC Risk Review Team. I was wondering if anyone that has gone through it - how long did it take between submitting your documents until the phone call to end the review?

It has been more than a month after submitting my documents and was informed I will have a phone call to end the review, however, there has not been any updates since. I did send journal messages asking for an update, however, they keep stating they are reviewing the documents and to wait for the call. I am a very anxious person and wondering how long it roughly has taken people going through the same process. Thanks!

Sorry can’t offer much advice but I am having the same. I had to send my documents by 7 June which I did.
I have a phone call booked now for next Monday. They sent me a message today to book that so my call is booked for 10 days after the deadline for sending the documents, if that helps at all

It was all good thanks, I was asked some questions and then asked to send in my PayPal statement as well.
My payments continued during this review period. Just wait for final outcome now I guess, hoping all be ok.

I've just had a message from universal credit telling me they will phone on Friday morning. It's to do a review on me and my dh, the problem is that he doesn't have any photo id. He had to give up his driving license when he became ill and he doesn't have a passport. I hope this won't cause problems?

@goldendolphin1 can I ask how you sent your documents, did you have to post them or copies of them or did you upload them online?

@Mummytodo sorry can I ask you the same question in case the other poster doesn't come back to the thread as its from a while ago. How did you send your documents in, did you have to physically post copies or did you upload them? Does it have to be photo ID? Thanks

You upload them online. They will end you a link. I had to screenshot my PayPal statement for them to see even though I don't use it to sell anything online. I said I had one, so they wanted to look at it.

@Mummytodo @multicolouredbunting Do you know if it will be OK if I take photos of my paper bank statements and upload those as my banking app only goes back a couple of months statements?

I think it depends how lenient the work coach is, you could ask. I had issues with getting the latest statement in pdf and he allowed me to do a screen shot. However for older ones had to pdf them I couldn't do it from the app either had to go through the webpage

Just had my review call. All was fine. He asked for additional documents from my vinted account which I uploaded straight away and within minutes review was completed.

Nothing to worry about

Just an update. Review went well and they were very understanding of my situation. I was allowed to screenshot documents and upload. They were extremely helpful.
