Lost my old mare, Heather at the end of February after she had ruptured her tendon sheath in the field (I decided that it would be unfair on her to put her through surgery given that she was nearly 26) 😭😭😭.
At the beginning of April, I started loaning a 14.2hh piebald Gypsy cob five days a week. He's called Buddy, is 8 years old and he is an absolute delight 😃😍😃😍. Such a cuddly boy, and loves getting scratched under his tummy ( makes the most hilarious faces 😂😂😂).
Buddy is great fun to ride too, and we've had some lovely rides in our local woods, and also had a trip down to the beach last week - he is happy to just plod around in walk, but also has a turn of speed when the ground is good enough for a canter. Happily hacks out on his own too 😃😍😃😍.
