Question about council housing

I was assessed as needing a ground floor property and got a bungalow which I’m very grateful for and it’s a life tenancy. It’s not safe for me to use stairs all the time as I have a condition that flares up with stress
if my mental health improves and is no longer having such an impact on my physical health is it like universal credit where you have to notify them if your condition improves or can I just stay here for however long I want in case I get impacted again

No they won’t be asking you to move if your condition improves temporarily or even permanently now :)

Check your tenancy agreement carefully- if the property is adapted or designated for disabled tenants it may be that if you no longer need that it could end the tenancy but hopefully not - it will be on the agreement somewhere

No - I have just moved into a ground floor due to disability and mental health conditions, possible to improve but not fully even if they did no where in my tenancy does it state that it is specifically disabled property.
