Do you have a picnic set to be proud of?

I’m thinking of getting a lovely new picnic set so if you love using yours, please let me know where you bought it and what is great about it?

I think the trouble is that I want everything! Beauty, functionality, large enough for four, compact/ lightweight/ easy to transport, insulated. But what’s the best configuration?

I do like the look of a woven hamper but I think I have to rule that out due to bulk and weight.

I’d like everything to be coordinated but it doesn’t necessarily have to come from the same place. I was thinking Sophie Allport plates and/or rug but there’s probably a better place to get a quality and functional cool bag/ hamper thingy.

So, please do brighten our morning with photos/ links/ screen shots of your lovely picnic ware ☺️🥰

I want to get a picnic set as well, including one of those blankets that’s soft on the top side and waterproof underneath. John Lewis had some pretty things when I was in there the other day.

My picnic set comprises of a careful foray into the 'plastic cupboard' (all sorts of tupperware, cups, plates, cutlery, boiled egg holders, sundae cup things).

Basically, I open the cupboard, try and catch whatever falls out, stuff whatever food is in the fridge in said fallout containers, and then pack it all in a bag for life.

No blanket required. I sit on the bag for life once emptied.

Don't say I don't picnic in style! You should give it a whirl. Far more exciting than a fancy hamper. Never under estimate the thrill of an avalanche of containers! 😆
