I forget what it's called but I mentioned it to a doctor quickly a year or two ago at the end of another appointment and he said I could get some over the counter stuff to help.

I finally went to the pharmacy and had the courage to get the stuff as I didn't like the idea of acid on my skin...

My issue is that it's on the side of the knuckle on my dominant hand. I have been doing it of an evening for a few days but washing my hands after about an hour or two because before bed I like to make a drink or go to the toilet etc and I hate the idea of having it on my hand still when doing these things but I'm sure im being silly as online it seems to suggest you wash it off the morning of the next day so I can't imagine many washing it off after an hour or like I currently have it strapped up with cotton wall and tissue and sellotape as I don't have plasters.

If anyone has used treatment to get rid of such what did you do? Did you just leave it and not think about it? Wash it off soon after? As before putting it in my contraption I've had it bent like a claw until I've washed it and I'm sure people aren't walking around their houses like the dinosaur claw from jurassic Park or like a witches nail...

Waterproof plasters, or
Tattoo film, or
Latex gloves, or
Finger cots (they look like condoms, so ...) or
Condoms.

Do everything then put it on as you get into bed?

Or gloves?
