I like history, mental health, current affairs and a bit of true crime-yet to find one that's captured my attention or isn't really irritating!

Whats her name - about women in history who are largely unknown
The rest is history - they put out 3-4 episodes a week and have a huge back catalogue so I ignore the ones that I’m not interested in

I’ve also heard good things about The happiness lab.

Like previous posters I like to dip in and out depending on if I'm interested in the subject and find it's easy to do with these podcasts largely the episodes are stand alone or there are mini series of one or two episodes on same topic.

For true crime I like RedHanded. They cover a different crime every episode so don't string it out like some of the serial ones do.

For mental health, Mayim Bialik's Breakdown is really great.

The Rest is History is my current fave. Recently listened to their in-depth four parters on Titanic and The Falklands War. Several hundred episodes on Spotify so you'll definitely find a topic that will interest you.

My DP raves about one called Empires. I've listened to a few with him we've been in the car and they are good.
