Quick one. I think my (d)p is using WhatsApp to message other women.

If I delete them reinstall WhatsApp, will the deleted messages show up?

I'm not asking about the dubious ethics of my question, I am not controlling its just something doesn't feel quite right.
I just want a straight answer before I take that particular step.

Why would deleted messages reappear if you reinstall?

I was thinking that if there is something untoward going on, that these messages would perhaps reload 🤷‍♂️

No that’s not how it works, sorry. Not that I approve of snooping… but if you hit the share button on a photo, most recent contacts including whatssapp pop up, if there isn’t any recent contact from him to her, then he has deleted messages.
