Ooh, what's the first item - can't make it out?

thesilver · 07/05/2024 19:18

Love these! Can't make out the first two items.

Teamarugula · 07/05/2024 19:20

I think the second item is loo cleaner but no idea about the first!

What are they making with six jars of ground ginger?!

Love these! Can't make out the first two items.

One is loo cleaners/ basic yellow

The first one looks like puttanescas which is weird. Can't be though!

aerkfjherf · 07/05/2024 19:21

They are going to have guests, clean the loo, bake a cake....

MidnightPatrol · 07/05/2024 19:22

I buy six jars of ground ginger every week.

Eukanuba · 07/05/2024 19:22

Is it the name of the recipe ? Puttanesca ( pasta sauce )
The second item is their basic cleaner ( flash substitute . )

What do you use it in?

I was thinking that but then it was loo cleaner! Unless they now it off by heart.

Damnloginpopup · 08/05/2024 06:45

That's an excessive amount of ground ginger. Is she a wicked witch wanting to extend her house?

Bjorkdidit · 08/05/2024 06:49

Seems odd to be cost conscious with the cheap loo cleaner and price limit on salsa, then buying ground ginger in jars, when you could buy the bigger packs of Asian brands at a fraction of the cost, and make sense due to large quantity needed. Spices in jars are useless anyway because they're too narrow to get a teaspoon in.

I think they were joking. As per my previous post, surely anyone who needs more than minimal amounts of any spices buys them in packs not jars, especially not the stupid narrow jars that spices in supermarkets are sold in.

Maybe it's a list for someone? Like, get bleach, the 70p one?

Not everyone is lucky enough to live close to a shop selling big bags of Asian spices.

Bjorkdidit · 08/05/2024 06:55

They sell them in Sainsbury's, in the shop where the list was found.

Actually you can get a spoon in the Sainsbury’s ones - they are slightly wider/squatter jars and just have screw lids instead of shaker lids
