How can I cancel this Apple payment?

A few years ago I signed up for a small monthly storage fee for iCloud for my son's iPhone.

We no longer have Apple phones or devices and I want to cancel the payment, but I can't even remember the email address or password etc.

The payment comes out via my credit card. Does anyone know how I can cancel it? Can I contact the credit card people and do it via them?

If you don't have access to the Apple account, you'd need to go via your bank. If it's direct debit can you not just cancel it in the banking app? If not you'd need to contact your bank and have them do it on their end

Contact your card provider and ask them to remove the pre authorisation for the payment.

For tracking the id down, do you know anyone who has an iPhone that would have had your DS's phone number? His Apple ID may be stored in their contact list if so.

Or any autofill data on any computers for sites he would have signed up for using his apple email address?

It's via the credit card not the bank, although the credit card is issued by the bank.

Dh has an iPad, I don't think it has the old number on it. Ds has a new number now. He hasn't had an iPhone for donkeys years. He doesn't need or use the storage.
