How to dress child's infected toe?

Hello, how should I best dress my child's toe? It is infected, I think an ingrowing toenail. After bathing it in warm salt water this morning it developed a blister. The blister has now popped and it is oozing clear puss. Very sore. It is very wet. Should I leave it to dry? Or try and put a plaster on (angle is awkward)? Or something else. Will be contacting GP tomorrow!

Fibre free dressing, do it up like a Mummy with tape to absorb the gunk and give it a bit of protection from knocks/the bedcovers.

I would bathe it with salt water & try to keep it clean. As it's in an awkward spot maybe just clean sock, and bathe it later before bed.
