There's bunting on the Gov.UK 'Bank Holiday' information page today :-)

Thought you'd all like to know :)

In fact bunting appears there on any day when there's a Bank Holiday (except Good Friday) and has done for several years. On Christmas and New Year it's tinsel.

Whether or not the Bank Holiday page is 'buntable' is driven by info on this page (scroll to the bottom to see info for up to 2026) https://www.gov.uk/bank-holidays.json

Cute! I like this!

Surely a photo of several umbrellas would be more appropriate.

Haha, certainly in London today - yes. I'm sure it's waterproof bunting :)

I only noticed the page's bunting a few years ago but apparently it's been there for about a decade! Nice little Easter egg (although they don't actually buntify the page on Good Friday as I suppose it's not really intended as a cheerful bank holiday).

You need to be careful with the word "bunt" and "government" at the moment, I fear. I may have been thinking something slightly different.
