Kris was such a brilliant woman. Alive with creativity, imagination, gusto, bonkersness. she thrived right to the end.

Diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at 23, she immediately went in a quest to educate the medical world on early diagnosis, and on young women to check themselves. Coppafeel was born.

She saved countless lives with her relentless, fun, drive to educate and stop others succumbing the same fate as hers.

The word 'inspirational' gets bandied around a lot, but she truly was.

She will be deeply missed.

She's the kind of woman the world needs.

Just came on to post about this.
I've followed her story for 10+ years, what an extraordinary woman. I'm so sad to see this.

BarcardiWithGadaffia · 06/05/2024 12:22

That is sad, Ive followed her since she was first in the public eye but hadn't seen anything recently

CatChant · 06/05/2024 12:22

Very sad news.

longtompot · 06/05/2024 12:27

Such sad sad news. I was expecting it after seeing her last posts about her scans which were not good, but as I am not a patreon I didn't see the whole news about it, but it still a shock. She seemed such a force du jour and felt like she would be here forever.
She was an amazing woman, to set up a charity from her experience so no other person has to go through what she did. Her instagram post on Glittering A Turd from Lady Marms just broke me. Rip Kris ⭐️

I am so sad to hear this. Sad What a bright, bright light she was.
But she led SUCH a full life post- diagnosis. She really was a true inspiration on how to live in the face of death and alongside illness.
My heart goes out to her poor twin left without her.

Fraudornot · 06/05/2024 13:57

I was so very sad to hear this news. She was not only a wonderful campaigner but she tried to talk more openly about death and what it means to live a good life. She went through the most brutal of treatments but was determined to live a full life. The world is a lesser place without her in it. Her twin must be devastated.

I was so sad to see this earlier. She was such a positive force for education on BC in young women & how to advocate for your needs as a cancer patient.

Her zest for life even in the worst circumstances was so infectious.

So very sorry for those who knew and loved her, especially her twin.
