First & foremost my Dad is one of the kindest & most generous men I know. He always has my back. He can make me laugh until tears are running down my face. I especially love how he takes care of my Mum, who is sadly becoming more frail & confused with Parkinson’s. Luckily, Dad is still very fit ( you wouldn’t think he was 86) & plays golf regularly. I love the way he will talk to everyone he meets & immediately put them at ease. He’s so charming with old fashioned manners. Still handsome too ( all my friends had a crush on him when he gave them lifts as teenagers). I love Dad’s passion for things & his strong sense of injustice. He’s a lovely Grandad too. It’s different now DD is older but they spent a lot of time together when she was little, always working on a project or pottering about in the garden.

My late dad was a lovely man. Very friendly, could talk to anyone, adored by , and adoring of his children and his grandchildren.

I think being able to relate to pretty much anyone he met, was a real strength of his.

My late dad believed in me totally and was super kind and supportive. He was also incredibly intelligent and I loved talking to him about anything from politics to literature and history.
