Bubblebath that makes loads of bubbles

Yes, I know it is bad for one's skin and everything else wrong with it 🤣 but now and again I just love a really bubbly bath.

Compared to when I were younger, quite possibly to do with changes in ingredients etc I've been totally unable to find any that creates a lot of bubbles/foam.
I've tried luxury brands, expensive brands, average ones, very cheap ones (I thought they'd maybe have more detergent!) And still dissatisfied.

Any recommendations please?

I think you get a more bubbly bath if you put some Epsom salt in with the bubble bath!

L'Occitane Lavender bath foam. It's gorgeous. Although I'm in a soft water area which does make a difference.

Currently using the verbena scent and it's not as bubbly even thought it's the same brand...

The chemical that makes bubbles/lather in soaps and similar is sodium laureth sulphate so look for one with that in and soft water is meant to be better for bubbles as it doesn't have the additional compounds in.

Thank you so much everyone! This has been really annoying me for about a year!

Ooh I hadn't thought about Matey! Thanks for the Yorkshire water link, I'll check that out definitely.
