Hello all,

My daughter is turning 13 (going on 22 🙄) and would like to celebrate her birthday with her friends 🥳 (a group of 7 girls)

Many girls in her year have had birthdays and celebrated with cinema trips, meals out, trampoline park parties etc...so this is the level of expectation.

My problem is, I can't afford to take 7 girls out for a meal, or pay to go to a trampoline park 😫

Please send me some suggestions of what I can do for a group of 13 year old girls which isn't going to cost the earth, but will still hit the 'this is cool' bracket!

I just don't want it to be a flop for my daughter 😪

If you look on Groupon, you can get discounted offers. Maybe look on there for what’s happening in your area, meals etc.

Can you do something at home? If so, what about a mocktail party & top their own pizza.
You could also buy some beauty products/facemasks etc and have a bit of a pamper Then a movie of their choice with popcorn .

Could you accommodate a sleepover? I feel mean suggesting this because 8 13 year olds for a sleepover is brutal, just arm yourself with wine and ear plugs!

Hi OP, I'm in same situation now? Can you tell me more about that murder mystery night? Sounds interesting!

Hey!

We ordered a Murder Mystery pack off Amazon (I think it was called Murder at the Manor) It stated the game was aged 16+ but after reading the reviews they said it was suitable for youngsters (which I agree)

We gave each friend a character and it was a HUGE hit! All the girls got dressed up in character and it was such a giggle. I bought pizza and garlic bread and served as the game was in motion. My daughter loved it!

The only expense was the game £20 and the food (From Aldi) so financially good too!
