Watch or Jewellery

Towards the end of the year, I'll be getting a bonus, so in a good position to treat myself to something - I already have a pot of savings, which I add to every month so this money doesn't necessarily need to be saved, hence the treat.

I've narrowed down my options to two luxurious choices:

1. A diamond Tennis bracelet.
2. A Cartier panther watch.

If you were in my shoes, which option would you lean towards, and what would be your reasoning behind the choice?

Personally I would go for the watch if you like the style. A bit like jewellery but also useful.

Which would you wear more? I got a fancy (but nowhere near as fancy as you're considering!) watch when DC2 was born but I almost never wear it as I tend to wear my Fitbit or nothing. I don't regret buying it, but still.

Do you already have a "good" watch? If not I'd get the watch, if you do I'd get the bracelet.
