Big tooth coming through out of line

Ds has literally lost his first baby tooth today age 5 and his big tooth is popping through already, but it's way back and looks completely out of line. Is this normal?! Or can I expect him to have wonky teeth / wear braces?! Neither is a problem obviously I'm just wondering as this is all new to me!

Completely normal. They move a lot. The chances are that it will move forward and turn into the right position. He still may need orthodontic treatment though but you won’t know until more teeth come through.

It will move forward as space appears

Totally normal

Trust the teeth that they know what they are doing!

Yes totally normal. Theirs mouths grow and make room for their permanent teeth.

One of mine got to the long awaited orthodontist appt to get braces only to be told the teeth had corrected themselves and the result was better than the bloke would have expected with braces.

Our 8 year old mouth looks like a medieval graveyard. We are hoping they all sort themselves out 😂
