Does anyone else have this awful virus?

Severe sore throat, cough and severance and hearing distortion.

I have never had anything like this before. Normally I get a runny nose and a regular sore throat.

I'm in bed all Saturday so fsr and cancelled the BH plans. But they weren't exciting anyway. Dosed up on cold and flu tablets, cough mixture and hot water bottle on my ear! I can actually feel liquid moving in my ear.

What's severance? I have had a weird virus involving a rash and a 3 week long cough

Yep, had this a month ago - had white pus and enlarged tonsils with it as well. The pain in the my throat and ears was so, so bad. Went to the Dr after 4/5 days with no improvement at all and got given antibiotics for bad tonsillitis for 10 days - it took me about 3 and a half weeks to fully get over it and was having to take paracetamol and ibuprofen as regularly as I was allowed for the pain.

I'd recommend Difflam throat spray for the throat pain as well - it doesn't get rid off it completely but it does help take the edge of it a little bit at least. I think there's an awful lot of it going around at the moment. My boyfriend then ended up catching it off me too 😅.
