i just watched Lion in the house and loved it. Are there any other documentaries that you could recommend to try about children, families or social care as I’m interested in watching more of these over the weekend. Have some very rare time to myself!

The Lost Children.

It's about the Bon Secours Mother and Baby home in Tuam, Ireland.

Horrific but compelling.

Also, Capturing the Friedmans.

And maybe Deep Water, the Don Crowhurst story.

The last one is amazing.

Probably not on topic at all but:

• Navalny is extraordinary.
• Blackfish - about the captive killer whales that killed humans
• The Dropout on bbc iplayer about the Elizabeth Holmes Theranos scandal
• Fyre - about the disatstrously organised Fyre festival
• The Jinx - the classic true crime documentary with a chilling twist
• The Staircase - also chilling and fascinating

Not about children but Virunga on netflix is a superb documentary

I love a documentary but I only have the free catch up channels.
I like forensics and surgeon’s stuff, murder and capturing crooks. Fly on the wall stuff.
