Did anyone here ever have to go back to a stylist?

I got my hair done last week. I showed my stylist the picture in yellow as a reference picture. I wanted a bold colour worked in my hair.

I am ok about the colour. I love the colour but I don't know about the colour placement. It looks like what I got is a huge block of dip dye.

It's ok but I am finding it very hard to wear my hair down. I usually do wear my hair up a lot of the time. However there are times when I simply do not have time to style my hair. As in I do t even have time to put on scrunchie. It's just go, go, go, go, go.

I am not sure about what I have now. I like the colour and I like my hair tied up however it looks like I have a colour block and line right across my head.

I would have liked something with more blend.

I do t know about making contact with the stylist. Do I phone him or text him or fill in his online booking system or do I just live with this colour block til it all grows out.

I think I might break Google. I keep searching for pictures of what I have and it's so rare. Is it normally to go half and half block with colours and wear hear like that.

I am not usually a fan of dip dyes.

I didn't notice this in the salon.because my hair was curled. For a few years after that I didn't really notice it. It's only when I look at the back of my hair now in mirrors, it looks very hard. That's only when my hair is down.
