Just cleaning one of the Kitchen Cupboards of Doom to match lids to bowls .
But some have gone that manky orange colour .

Any tips of how to restore to former white/clear ?

I'm thinking I could put them all in diluted bleach would that works ?

TIA .

If you put them in a sealed container with water, washing up liquid and some torn up kitchen roll and give the whole thing a really good shake it gets rid of the orange. I do it with plastic food boxes that have had tomato sauces in.

Leave in sunlight normally bleaches them back to white.

It's usually tomatoes in any oily sauce that stain. Soak in hot water with either soda crystals or washing up liquid and wipe with kitchen roll.

I'd use milton rather than bleach.

I wouldn't bother as long as they have been through the dishwasher. They are clean.
