About 6pm on a workday

OP posts:

I’ve been home since 2. But I was up at 5 am. I’m knackered so won’t be doing anything now except pottering at home.

blacksax · 03/05/2024 15:32

It varies.

Any particular reason for asking?

As early as possible. I love just being at home knowing that’s it, shoes off, and you can settle into whatever you want, and it won’t be interrupted by other things. I have to go out tomorrow but then if I don’t go out for another week that would be absolutely fine by me.

BurglarAndSwag · 03/05/2024 15:52

Bit of useful information there.

TIA

TitaniasAss · 03/05/2024 15:56

About 4.30 on a good day. I'm up at 5.45 and in work for 7, so that's long enough for me.

Eh?

reluctantbrit · 03/05/2024 16:00

I am home from work at 6.30pm but on two days a week I will have to go out and collect DD. We car-share for one activity but if it is my turn it will be 10pm.

BurglarAndSwag · 03/05/2024 16:01

FatAndFiftySomething · 03/05/2024 15:58

Eh?

Look at my name.

RandomUsernameHere · 03/05/2024 16:05

Shortly after 6 on days the DCs have activities, some days earlier (I WFH).

HouseofHolbein · 03/05/2024 16:07

Had a few drinks from 13:00. Home for tea then out again later to see a band 👍

EasilyDeterred · 03/05/2024 16:10

About 10pm. I get home from work at about 5.30 but more nights than not will go out somewhere, pub, gym, classes, for a walk, allotment in summer often on the spur of the moment. The habit has stuck from when the (now young adult) DCs were a bit younger and needing lifts to sports and activities most evenings till maybe 9.30.

FatAndFiftySomething · 03/05/2024 16:11

BurglarAndSwag · 03/05/2024 16:01

Uh oh.

How I wish I hadn’t put my full address there, I’ll edit it right now 🤪.

Unless…………are you the type of burglar who would do a bit of hoovering while you’re here? Or give the loo a quick swish? Please?

This is the perfect illustration of how easily we share private information.
Even if nothing can be harvested and used against you in this case, chances are that it’s too easy to get answers from you in general and one day it might bite you on your assets!

I do agree with this. Frequent name changing is a must.

KevinAndHerKits · 03/05/2024 16:19

The corner shop shuts at 11pm, so if anyone wants anything after that it needs to be fairly urgent for me to be prepared to go out to the bigger one ten minutes walk up the road.

"This is the perfect illustration of how easily we share private information."

Yup

NahNeedsGarlic · 03/05/2024 16:22

As a designated teenager taxi service, who knows? 😂

AllThatFancyPaintsAsFair · 03/05/2024 16:22

What personal information?

I don't even understand the question

TakeOnFlea · 03/05/2024 16:32

"What personal information?"

Well the OP was very specific suggesting they're out of the house until 6pm. Presumably they wanted answers to follow in a similar fashion.

Those who give lots of info can become targets, it shows who believes these forums are completely anonymous. If they don't name change often or ever then it's easy to build up a picture of who someone is and where they are from. To manipulate them.

That's not what she said at all.

There's being sensible online and then being frankly bonkers

There is zero risk to an anonymous person posting a thread that I assume means she doesn't go out after 6pm

The OP has only made three posts if the search is correct and even Mystic Meg couldn't make anything from them

ItsAllMadness24 · 03/05/2024 16:43

Depends entirely on if my teen needs a lift, could be 11pm. If its a night visiting a relative in hospital about 8.30pm. If its a hobby night for my son 9.30pm. If there's nothing to do that evening it could be 5pm after work.

Deathraystare · 03/05/2024 16:45

Depends if I am working or not. If I do 7 to 1, I get in around 2.30 to 3-ish. If I do 2 to 8 I am in around 8.30-9-ish. Then of course I might do some shopping too.

TakeOnFlea · 03/05/2024 16:46

"There is zero risk to an anonymous person posting a thread that I assume means she doesn't go out after 6pm"

We're talking about building a picture. And how the way people easily answer inane questions online identifies them as a potential target. Not about this one specific thread 🤪
