Hi all. I have accepted a job offer at a local care home to me, I had my interview 1st March and had then do my dbs check 2 weeks after that. Its now 3rd May and I called to check with my employer and they said it's at stage 4 with my local police station and has been for some time. They haven't given me a start date yet because of this delay but I'm in desperate need to start because we have just moved home and had to leave my old job. I'm just getting frustrated with how long the dbs is taking 😞 has this happend to anyone else? How long did it take? Thanks for reading.
