Ear defenders for 8 year old

Can any wise mumsnetters please recommend some good ear defenders that will
fit an 8 year old. TIA

Peltor make children's sizes and that's what we have (well the 4 year old wanders around the house with her dad's Husqvarna ones on listening to the radio in them but that doesn't count)

My 8 year old wears glasses and hated the ear defenders we bought him.

On a friends recommend loop engage earplugs - Very pricey but he loves them and can cope with mealtimes now

I'd not trust him with them in school, but it's a consideration if your child wears glasses

Thanks very much, I’ll take a look at those. They will be just for occasional use, fireworks etc

We've had Edz Kidz ones which work well.

My son has Edz Kidz ones (Amazon). He's just moved to Loop defenders as you can choose the type you need and they are more comfortable for him.

My daughter has loop ear plugs. She didn't like the feel of the ear defenders over her ears when she borrowed some.
