School shoes help

Does anyone have a recommendation of boys black trainers, preferably with a reinforced toe of some kind. Kid really hard on shoes, latest pair has lasted 4 days, so far we've tried cheap to expensive and nothing seems to last. To add to the difficulty he's got wide feet that tricky to find things that fit. Any and all recommendations will be gratefully received.

My wide footed shoe destroyer usually wears the Hush Puppies Jezza. Very solid with good toe bumpers. They last until outgrown which I don't think any other shoe has for him.

I usually get my boys shoes from start rite, you could always see if they have any trainers :-)

Try next. They do width fittings.

What about steel toe capped trainers? Ds (who is very fussy about comfort) has some I got him from ebay. Just tell him not to challenge everyone to stamp on his feet as ds did!

They were similar to these:

Treads (available online only) or marks and spencer. Clarks don't last

Thank you all, I will have a look at the recommendations.
