What's bitten me?

Keep getting bitten every day. Do these look like bed bug bites? 🤢 If so, what's the best way of getting rid of the buggers?

Any ideas? I hate the idea of bugs! 😩

No, bed bugs bite in a line.
I'd guess fleas espcially where they are...do you have carpets? They can lie dormant even if you don't have pets currently!

Agree with fleas for the lower body :( Sorry OP not ideal!

NibbleNibbleChompChomp · 02/05/2024 19:35

Oh no! I don't have pets but my mum frequently brings her dog over. I don't think he has fleas himself but I wonder if he's carried some cats fleas over on him as I know her cat constantly gets fleas. 🤢

What's the best way of getting rid of fleas? I share a room with my 5 month old baby so don't want them getting at her.

Spray the carpets with Indorex. If you think there’s an infestation rather than a few freeloaders, hoover everywhere every day for 7 days after. It’s the inky thing that works. Other flea sprays are puny

I haven't noticed an infestation so I hope it's just the odd few. About 8 years ago I looked after my mums cat in my flat and he caused an infestation then.. they were EVERYWHERE. I remember setting off a flea bomb multiple times and think it worked but I moved out not long after.

When they are everywhere, can you actually see them or are they too small?

LBOCS2 · 02/05/2024 19:45

Fleas would be my guess too. Indorex everywhere, especially where the carpet meets the wall and soft furnishings, and get a flea collar and vacuum it up into your vacuum bag so it kills anything you hoover up.

When I had the infestation in my old flat I could actually see them on the floors jumping around 🤢. Definitely my mums cat that caused it then as again I had no pets and only looked after him for 3 days while she moved house. So I wonder if he's to blame again this time but perhaps the dog brought them over.

This time I don't see any hopping around the carpets so hopefully if I spray indorex quickly it'll sort the buggers out.
