Can I vote if left home town for emergency?

I had to leave my home town on Tuesday when my mum was rushed into hospital. I can't get back there today to vote.

Is there any way I can get someone to vote on my behalf in this situation?

Think you can still apply for an emergency proxy vote but you'd have to google how.
