I'm sure it's completely normal etc etc, but everywhere I look seems to be talking about older siblings being jealous of newborns. Never had that problem, but recently 12 month old has become what I can only describe as jealous of ds getting cuddles - she'll start crying and desperately crawl over to get onto my lap. E.g Earlier, ds sat on my lap for a cuddle and she started crying, then climbed onto my lap and tried to push him off.
As I said, I'm sure totally normal! But I guess I just want reassurance that what I'm doing is best and any tips to help work through it. For now, I tend to keep them both in a cuddle and distract by e.g doing something to make her laugh until she's calmed down.
