Any dentists here please? New crown has come straight off

Lasted 3 weeks! Got food stuck next to it and used dental floss and it came pinging off. It also looks a little damaged on one side.

What will happen now? It cost £750 so I am very worried about any extra expense on top of that. It’s also a right pain in the arse to get any appointments when I work as a full time teacher - getting the crown in the first place took 3 appointments and really pissed my school off to boot.

Arrrgghhh!

Mine did this, and they stuck it back on with stronger glue. Or whatever it is, but it hasn’t moved in forever now.

took less that ten minutes for it to be restock, so an end of day appt should do it

Stop using dental floss to pry out food stuck between your crown. Always use an interdental pick or brush first. Did your dentist not give you any?

It was one of the picks with dental floss stuff between it - whatever had lodged there had not budged for a couple of days. I suppose at least it has gone now! Along with the entire crown 😩

Thanks, isthewashingdry - hopefully that will be an option. Sounds effective and cheap!
